Fire Alarm Systems Installation

Fire Alarm System Installation

Fire alarm systems are essential to all fire protection systems. They also keep people and building safe by alerting them when an emergency has occurred and an evacuation is necessary. Ensure the fire alarm system, it must be properly designed and needs to have proper inspections and maintenance to ensure it is functioning correctly.

Captain Fire Protection designs fire alarm systems to cater to each building’s unique needs. We ensure each system is designed to meet the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, New York State and City requirements, and local codes. We then submit a design package for review and approval by the regulatory local agencies and begin installation once we receive approval. When the installation is complete it will be fully tested and approved by the local authority.

In the event of a fire, our fire alarm system will activate and alert the occupants of the building, providing ample time for evacuation and reducing the risk of injury or damage. The fire alarm system is also connected to a monitoring center, which will dispatch the local fire department in the event of an emergency.

A fire alarm system consists of:

  • Fire alarm control panel
  • Smoke detectors
  • Duct detectors
  • Strobe lights
  • Pull stations
  • Fireproof bells
  • Annunciator panels
  • Water flow sensors (for sprinkler monitoring packages)
  • Air conditioning and elevator control shut down
